Sailun Tire's Monumental Production Milestone in Vietnam

Sailun Tire, a prominent exhibitor at the China International Tire Expo (CITEXPO), has recently marked a groundbreaking milestone in the tire industry. On November 18th, Sailun Tire has rolled off the first 'giant tire' at its Vietnamese manufacturing facility in Go Dau, Tay Ninh province. This momentous event was part of Sailun's 21st-anniversary celebration.

Being the pioneer among Chinese tire companies to possess comprehensive manufacturing capabilities for Passenger Car Radial (PCR), Truck and Bus Radial (TBR), and Off-The-Road (OTR) tires abroad, Sailun's Vietnam plant, operational since December 2022, has been active for over 300 days. This achievement not only signifies the debut of giant tire production in Vietnam but also positions Sailun as the premier Chinese tire enterprise to execute a 'giant tire' project overseas.

On January 8th, 2023, Sailun Group revealed plans to inject a total investment of 3 billion RMB yuan into the Vietnam plant. This investment aims to expand the plant's capacity to produce 3 million units of PCR, 1 million units of TBR, and 50,000 tonnes of off-the-road tires.
